  • Tinkering and angel investing

    2015

Quarter life crisis, minus the divorce and the sports car. Investing in startups. Geographically agnostic (~175 investments across 20+ countries and 5 continents, though concentrated in Europe and the US). Sector agnostic / jack of all trades (B2B, B2C, hardware, software, prop-tech, health/med-tech, fin-tech, sex-tech, clean/green/eco-tech, pet-tech, music-tech (all the techs...), crypto/blockchain, transport, IoT, nuclear, space). Typically investing along the seed stage -- pre seed, seed, seed extensions, pre-series A bridge rounds. ~30% of the portfolio have a female (co)founder, and ~50% have a (co)founder of colour.

  • Angel investing

    2018

Assist Ventures is the holding name for the investments I make with Tom James. We are sector and geography agnostic, and typically invest at pre seed and seed.
