Re-hired as part of Dr. Hegele’s Hyperlipidemia genotyping research in the DNA sequencing facility. In addition to customer samples, also participated in a Hyperlipidemia GWAS. • Responsible for genotyping >200 hyperlipidemia patients • Maintained >300 Hutterite DNA long-term storage samples • Completed >1,000 reactions for customers and GWAS

Hired while still in high school to Dr. Rob Hegele's lab, focusing on studying hyperlipidemia. I ran PCR and gel electrophoresis of patient/control DNA as well as Nanospec archiving stock DNA from Hutterite patients.
