Thompson Hutton has engaged in venture capital and private equity, generally focused on businesses providing financial services technologies and information. The firm manages the ongoing portfolio investments of XL Innovate, in addition to direct venture investments. Tom serves as a Director or advisor to XL Innovate investments including SoFi, Lemonade (LMND), Slice Labs, Windward, ZenDrive, Pillar and GeoQuant; Archipelago, Philbrook's Boatyard, and LMR Wines and Hospitality. He serves a Senior Adviser at Brewer Lane Capital, GenStar Capital, and Stone Point Capital.
