Insight Medical is a capsule endoscopy medical device start-up that is producing a low-cost and more comfortable capsule endoscope device aimed to increase preventative screening of GI track diseases. Interviewed physicians and patients to identify three features to improve endoscope design. I worked with a physician and a team of engineers to incorporate these features into the endoscope, resulting in significant design changes that improved usability of the device. Conducted an analysis of potential market opportunities through understanding world-wide endoscopy market, key players, and others to segment the proper market for the product and identified market potential of $120M.
