- Lead global financial operations for all investment funds and operating units by overseeing the day-to-day operations, including: debt financing and fundraising, financial reporting, investment valuations, capital deployment, taxes, legal structures, regulatory licensing, investor relations and investment due diligence. - Engage in strategic planning and new market development, ensuring legal structure optimisation to manage growth. Direct the creation and professionalisation of offices overseas and liaising with local teams. - Responsible for financial due diligence process on portfolio companies and member of the investment committee, policy development, and managing service providers globally (including fund administrators, legal advisors, accountants and tax experts).

Responsible for leading in private debt and FinTech across the Channel Islands. I provide audit services to a variety of clients and specialise in private equity, venture capital and private debt funds, including P2P platforms, and FinTech ventures. Experience of oil & gas, tech investments, traditional PE as well as insurance and banking. My client portfolio consists of funds listed on the London Stock Exchange and I have a detailed understanding of Corporate Governance reporting and compliance with Listing Rules. I have an in-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards. I have significant experience in coordinating controls and compliance reviews of several leading investment managers and service providers incorporating review and assessment of key processes and systems across all areas of business including investment management, compliance, fund accounting, pricing, and IT. I am a member of the Guernsey Chamber of Commerce's Finance, Legal and Tax Sub-Group. I have a background in Computer Science and prior to joining PwC worked as a software developer for an international financial services business. I have a passion for all things related to FinTech and continue to work with local Government, the Regulator and various members of industry to deliver a FinTech strategy for Guernsey. I worked on a joint project with Commerce & Employment on producing the Island’s FinTech strategy report and am well connected in to a number of opportunities in the Peer-2-Peer lending space. I have experience of working with eGaming clients - third party controls reporting, risk management and compliance, as well as traditional audit and financial reporting engagements.
