Organising engineering industry simulation events for upper secondary school students. Presenting briefing keynotes to up to 300 students and attendees. Judging presentations based on scientific content and originality at each competition event. Chaired the organisational board 2016-17 which involved collaborating with host venues to arrange logistics for competition days, handling incoming registrations, setting up an alumni newsletter, and planning and hosting regular board meetings with colleagues who are industry professionals or university fellows.

Seraphim is a VC investment firm that manages over £350m AUM investing in space-enabled companies. This encompasses hardware and software ‘New Space’ opportunities which exist in space, such as earth observation satellites and space debris removal, or rely on space-based tech, such as IoT, geospatial analytics, and climate.

Completed four 6-month rotations on the following desks: DM Equity Research, Global and Securitised Fixed Income Product Specialist, UK Liquidity Sales, and Global Product Development. The year prior, interned in the passive and active systematic equities teams, conducting a detailed research project on developments in the ETFs space over the last 5 years, with a focus on single country emerging market and global multifactor products.

Awarded Female Undergraduate of the Year by Rolls-Royce and TargetJobs for my leadership, extra-curricular achievements, and business ideas, out of 600+ applicants. I completed an internship in Operations Management at Rolls-Royce in summer 2017 and had the chance to spend a week in the Krakow, Poland offices with my international colleagues.

Liaising with university societies to affiliate with us, handling membership related inquiries and managing incoming registrations. Increased number of society affiliations from 10 to 37 in one year through active outreach. Reporting on progress at weekly committee meetings and reviewing project grant proposals. Representing students in the space sector at KPMG's Partner's perspective: Impact of Brexit on future leaders in Aerospace, Defence and Intelligence in January 2017. I raised concerns regarding access to jobs in the space industry for students since a lot are based abroad. I also suggested strategies for dealing with the skills gap between engineering degrees and jobs, such as free vocational qualifications.
