Product Owner and Chief Engineer on Sofanatics.com, a social sports event hub that was a bit ahead of it's time, unfortunately. Working with a number of technologies ranging from custom Java servers to deliver realtime match statistics, user interaction and sentiment analysis to Flash to deliver a unique user experience for people who want to enjoy a real live sports event on TV while joining and interacting with friends and the rest of the world online. Technologies used include Amazon AWS controlled by RightScale for scaleable hosting, LAMP for the website, HTML5, Flash and Flex for clients binaries, as custom Java server for real-time data and Wowza Media servers for distribution of real-time data and media.

Supervised the efforts to raise capital and gain new customers for our TrunkTech MMOG technology platform. Designed the framework for the technology that enabled designers, not developers, to create compelling, state-of-the-art virtual worlds and related gaming experiences. Developed the front-end Flash client, client frameworks, 3D engine and designer toolkit with which world maps, items, characters, dialog, behaviours, missions, mini-games, achievements, shops, in-world navigation and character progression were built and designed and developed the network model with which development time of synchronized world objects and their behaviour was cut down into hours instead of weeks. Technologies used include Java on the backend with our proprietary AS3 compiler, Flash on the front-end, Flex for tooling, Adyen for subscriptions, Crisp for chat filtering and player threat analysis and a LAMP stack for web front-ends.
