    Seasonal work on 550ha mixed farm (~90 heifers, 250 ewes) situated in northeastern Cairngorm National Park. Vast amount of experience handling and managing stock and proficiency with most production machinery. Developed an awareness of traditional and more conservational farming methods such as livestock breed selection to marry the landscape and soil type.

    Providing 3D CAD solutions with advice on material selection for a Cradle to Cradle design process. Includes liaison with multiple external businesses in regards to logistics, manufacturing and marketing and sustainability.   • Design Engineering Intern

    2017 - 2018

    6 month internship turned full-time design and factory assistant. Projects undertaken revolve around mechanical mechanisms being used within rollercoaster (luge) carts. They include designing an automatic connecting/disconnecting hook mechanism between the handle of luge carts and a typical ski resort chair lift, transporting the cart to the top of the slope.

  • Warehouse Operations Assistant

    2015 - 2016

    Worked as an operations assistant in the warehouse for the Christmas period. Required working the afternoon to late evening shift processing orders of delicatessen foods from all over the UK.

  • Design Assistant

    2011 - 2011

    I took part in an assistant role in a small design team for three weeks assisting in the development of new parts for a more sustainable range of whisky distilleries. Tasks included: - Learning and applying CAD drawings to current parts used specifically on distilleries using Solidworks 3D design software. - Consultation with colleagues to investigate and criticise current solutions and projects.
