Kapor Capital is an early stage venture fund. •Sourced, performed due diligence and wrote investment memorandums for early-stage health care, education and consumer finance technology investments. Utilized environmental analysis, product testing and consumer feedback to provide investment recommendations to support the fund. •Consulted with portfolio companies on key growth strategies designed to improve hiring processes, streamline operations and lead to Series A funding. •Established and maintained strong relationships with executives and entrepreneurs at venture capital firms, start-ups and incubators. Increased firm’s brand recognition and overall deal flow •Developed the Kapor Capital Fellowship Program which provided paid internship opportunities for 40 high achieving high school, college and graduate students. Created a 12-week skill building curriculum crafted to introduce fellows to prominent individuals in the venture capital and start-up worlds. •Planned and executed the first Demo Day for the New Minority (NewME) Incubator. Event was covered by, CNN Black in America, CNN Money, Tech Crunch and Black Enterprise.
