  • Global Programs Manager - Ecosystem Partnerships

    Joined Facebook's Global Programs team to launch Ecosystem Partnerships - a new effort to bring the Community Ecosystem closer together and move the needle in the right direction. Facebook's Community Partnerships team supports world-changing community leaders to launch, grow, scale and sustain meaningful communities around the globe. The team has launched and managed Community Programs such as the Facebook Community Leadership Program, the Community Accelerator, Community Learning Labs and Blueprint Community Manager Certification.

    2018 - 2020

    The Community Partnerships team was built to support Facebook's mission to give people the power to build community & bring the world closer together by empowering community leaders to start, grow and sustain meaningful communities around the world. As Strategic Partnerships Manager for EMEA, I helped design our global programs and implement them in the region. In 2020, I ran our first ever Community Accelerator Programme in Europe. A total 77 communities from across 6 regions participated in the 6-month programme where they received growth-focused training, hands-on mentorship and up to $30,000 to grow their communities. Participants addressed a range of global challenges, including those related to sustainability, diversity & inclusion, economic impact, and health & well-being. Our London community consists of 6000 professionals and early risers. We have proudly been delivering coffee, smiles and stories since 2012. London speakers include On Being's Krista Tippett, cellist Peter Gregson, Penguin designer Matt Young, information designer Stefanie Posavec and Rafe Offer from Sofar Sounds.
