    At Nucleus: Kentucky's Innovation Center, I was responsible for creating an Innovation Hub for the Louisville startup community; introducing a training program based on the Lean Startup methodology; helping establish two accelerators at the Nucleus Innovation Park; and providing programs and services for tenants to help them succeed in their quest to launch new ventures.

    Backupify is the leading cloud-to-cloud backup and recovery solution for software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications, including G Suite and Office 365. It manages 160PB of data for 40,000 companies, protecting over 4.6M users and restoring 150M items every month. Rob May and I founded the company in 2008. Over the next six years, the company raised $22 Million from top-tier venture capitalists (such as Avalon Ventures, General Catalyst, First Round Capital, Lowercase Capital) and corporate investors (such as Symantec and Betaworks). It was acquired by Datto in 2014, which then proceeded to go public in 2020.
