 Managed a distributed product management and software development team (Bay Area and Bangalore)  Responsible for all performance-related features of the Oracle Database. Worked on Oracle9i Database Release 2 and Oracle Database 10g and drove a 28% increase in product performance.  Planned and oversaw execution of all published performance benchmarks at Oracle for Database, Application Server, SAP, PeopleSoft and Oracle Applications.  Guided Oracle from a lagging position in Database and Application Server benchmarks to world records in TPC-C, TPC-H, ECPerf and SPECjAppServer benchmarks  Keynote speaker at Oracle customer events  Responsible for Oracles technology relationship with SAP, PeopleSoft, Siebel and SAS with the goal of increasing usage of Oracle Database by customers of these ISVs.  Represented Oracle to the media on Performance issues e.g., see http://www.sys-con.com/author/?id=4282
