This CRM project raised $4.2M in VC funding and CaritaSoft was launched. 2) Produced logical data model, physical design and then built one of the largest spatial data warehouses in state of California. We built the interfaces, loading platform (staging) for incoming data from external source, data cleansing procedures (PostalSoft), error handling, operational data store, and integration algorithms. This database became the backbone of Mapquest map software. 3) Built an online Order Entry, billing and invoicing system for a large telecom for video and cable services. Leader in global equity market information, buy and sell recommendations, independent data research, custom consulting, equity ideas for institutional and publisher of Investor's Business Daily (IBD). The software team consisted of 11 team members and half of the team members were vice presidents. My colleague at the time is the Sr. VP and chief of software now. * Architected the first ever mutual fund database for providing near real-time performance tracking in the US. The daily mutual fund charts and performance data was highlighted on the first page of Investor's Business Daily. First ever in US, even W.S.J. did not have anything close to it. * Pioneering Financial modeling software for tick by tick stock analysis for the Institutional clients. This was part of the portfolio that generated over $10M in revenues at the time. * Implemented real-time charting so that newest market data could be incorporated in daily charts fed to Investor's Business Daily as the newspaper printing deadline was only an hour from the receipt of daily closing stock price. * As a side project suggested, designed and built a highly successful Human Resource System on networked PCs. This project eliminated employee’s manually kept HR records and reduced man-hours for payroll, vacation and benefit calculation. Reduced the payroll processing for over 400 employees from three days to half a day. This highly successful project was one of the earliest adopters of HR systems on networked PCs.

ASC was started by MIT educated Ahmad Chalabi (he later became the first Iraqi deputy PM after the removal of Saddam Hussein) in late 70s to provide banking software to Middle Eastern and European banks. (Acquired by the second largest Bank in Jordan in 1989) Transferred to Washington DC, May 1985 to manage banking software project at PIBC, US affiliate of second largest bank in Jordan at the time. * Managed the build and roll out of an online (computer based) record management system on top of the core banking software. This resulted in huge gain in efficiency at the bank as employees and management were able to review customer data and accounts online instead of wading through thick daily/monthly reports that were generated by the mainframe computers. * Implemented core banking software to link PIBC (***Who is this) operations to their HO banking systems in Jordan. Resulted in multimillion dollar increase in profits as in-mail transit of banking transactions were replaced by online transfers and courier services. * Managed software operations (scheduling, maintenance and management of daily/monthly processing of jobs) as I was the resident expert on the software.
