EntitleNet provided security software platform for web application developers, enabling them to much more easily deliver secure and effective access management and entitlement for data and applications for various web and enterprise applications. With patented Bitmap Indexing technology and management suite, EntitleNet enabled the separation of rights management from development. Developers traditionally hard code security at time of programming making it vastly inefficient to manage fine grain access control. EntitleNet was sold to BEA Systems and became embedded in all WebLogic 7.0 and beyond, and is a core part of Web Logic Enterprise Security (WLES)
