    Renovate Simply is a data driven web and mobile marketplace that brings trust, transparency and matchmaking to home renovation. Using our proprietary decision tree model, we provide an online estimate and then match the request with the perfect contractor for the project based on our 13-point matching system. We do not stop at an introduction, we offer escrow, financing, and dispute resolution services to reduce risk for all parties involved. Our value-added platform helps both homeowners by creating a discovery outlet of service providers and contractors by allowing reach to their desired customers. Our tools reduce friction and empower homeowners to move forward on renovation projects they once were lost on how to begin.

    DreamIt Ventures, which operates accelerators in New York, Philadelphia, Austin, Baltimore, and Tel Aviv, helps exceptional people build exceptional companies. DreamIt has launched over 145 companies including SeatGeek, MindSnacks, Meerkat, Peeractive, TrendKite, and Biomeme. As a Venture Intern, Will assisted DreamIt with raising their venture fund. This process involved reengineering their portfolio metric tracking system as well as redesigning their pitch deck. In addition, he collected product market feedback for the firm and worked with Austin-based Sol Marketing to rebrand and reposition the organization.

As Project Manager, Will managed schedule creation and planning, design, and engineering of all contract-related activities on jobs varying from prison elevators to golf course renovations.

  • Assistant Project Manager

    2006 - 2008

    Kettler develops mixed-use communities that maximize limited land in urban areas and create economic and aesthetic value for investors, residents, and neighbors. As Assistant Project Manager, Will administered the planning, construction, and sale of a 512-unit condominium conversion project. This role required supervising a team of thirty through problems related to design, code implications, unforeseen conditions, and poor initial projections.

    Cavalier Coupons is an advertising company that distributed 10,000 coupon books to University of Virginia students at the beginning of each semester. As the founder, Will negotiated strategic partnerships to originate the company, performed initial product testing and design work, and established advertising with local vendors. The coupons averaged a 3% return rate and a 95% advertiser retention rate.
