Chemistry Honours
2024 - Current
I'm currently completing my Industry Honours project with Jupiter Ionics. My project aims to help make storing ammonia safer. I'm conducting lab experiments and a techno-economic analysis to evaluate whether a new type of material is viable to commercialise. Jupiter Ionics is a deeptech spin-out from the research at Monash University that is decarbonising the production of ammonia for fertilisers and the broader ammonia economy for its use as an energy vector.

Antler is the world’s largest early-stage investor, supporting hundreds of technology startups and thousands of entrepreneurs across six continents of leading entrepreneurial hubs such as New York, London, Stockholm, Berlin, Bangalore, Singapore, Seoul and Sydney. The firm invests in ~1% of more than 60,000 founders annually and invests from pre-seed and up to series C. I help the Antler Australia team to organise and run entrepreneurship masterclasses and events and manage resources and platforms which enable the most ambitious founders to make progress inevitable. I supported founders to build complementary co-founder teams, validating business models and unlocking networks across our local and global platform for scale. My work spreads across operations in our founder's community platform, our investment due diligence processes and portfolio function. Being part of a small, dynamic team, I have also been involved in managing the Melbourne community and supporting the People and Culture team alongside my role in business operations. By 2022, Antler has invested in more than 390 companies in over 30 industries including AI, Robotics, drones, fintech, proptech and healthtech. Of these companies,~35% have at least one female co-founder, ~1/3 are defined as impact startups and the founders represent more than 100 nationalities. Antler is changing the way that early-stage investments are made at scale, and making entrepreneurship more accessible to exceptional talent anywhere. Antler is helping to professionalize early-stage investing, by bringing new capital, a large global community of co-founders and a broad set of industry expertise to the earliest stages from the outset to support fast growing companies. Ecosystem Mapping
2022 - 2022
The Centre for Civic Innovation is the national Australian body for empowering people-led change. We encourage active citizens who want to make an impact in their communities by providing resources, guidance and connecting with the right people and funding to help them maximise their social and economic impact. To achieve this goal, I helped build a national Civic Innovation Ecosystem Map which supports civic innovators to navigate the ecosystem and find the right resources. CCI helps inspiring innovators to develop their ideas and connects them with the mentorship, network and resources they need to create a positive difference in our communities.

Startup Link UniMelb is the University of Melbourne branch of Startup Link, a student-led organisation aiming to bridge the gap between students and opportunities in the startup world through a range of networking, recruitment and skill-development opportunities. I work with my team to plan and organise events which encourage university students to pursue a career in the startup field. Our mission is to build the next generation of founders and operators to boost the Melbourne startup ecosystem.
Social Enterprise Incubator Program
2021 - 2021
Enactus is a global community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world. Each Enactus branch across universities around the world not only promotes entrepreneurship as a means of creating social impact but also takes initiative by establishing student-led social enterprises. We see possibilities, take action and enable progress. At Enactus Melbourne, I was a Research and Development officer, empowering students to take lead and create social impact through social entrepreneurship. I designed and implemented our first in-house incubator program to attract innovative ideas and then enable these disruptive ideas to turn into reality as a social enterprise. To achieve this goal, our program included structured content, workshops and events to spark innovation and encourage ideas from students all across the University of Melbourne, believing in the creative potential of every individual and also what these individuals can achieve together.
Club Committee, Melbourne High Chapter
2020 - 2020
I am working with the Future Minds Network and the new president and team of the Melbourne High School branch to continue to organise social entrepreneurship events for high school students. This year, we are working on a virtual hackathon based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We hope to provide opportunities for the high school students to learn from industry professionals and to expand their network for an early start into the entrepreneurship field. Future Minds Network (FMN) is an innovative social enterprise that helps young Australians launch social business. We run intensive entrepreneurship programs for high-performing teenage entrepreneurs - aka Teenpreneurs - who want to launch social business. With various chapters in school across Australia, FMN is the central hub for young social entrepreneurs. In the Melbourne High Chapter, we work under the guidance of FMN HQ to help raise awareness of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and foster innovation in the student community.
Club President, Melbourne High Chapter
2019 - 2020
The Future Minds Network is a social youth initiative that aims to bring together students from across the globe to discuss the kind of future we want to create. My role in Future Minds involves organizing and managing interschool events between high schools in Melbourne. I am working with peers across different schools and industry professionals from different sectors including government, not-for-profits and individuals to bring together an impactful event. I lead a group of peers in my school to plan the event and design the context and format of the competition. The event aims at promoting awareness in global issues and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. We work towards this goal in an interactive way by implementing a hackathon that is both fun and challenging for the participants.
