nexstem is a neurotech startup building cutting edge technology to unlock the true potential of human-machine interactions. as the first and marketing hire, I worked on go to market strategy & execution. learned about BCI technology, how EEG data is captured and processed, brain scanning, neurofeedback as a therapeutic approach for neurodivergence, and most importantly, how to talk to (and sell to) neuroscientists.

Crowdfunding Strategy Consultant

raised over Rs. 2.5 crores in non-dilutive crowdsourced funds for 50+ creative initiatives ranging from films and music albums, to events and publishing. humble brag - one of the films I worked on fundraising for has won multiple awards and film festival recognitions over the years and is now an Oscar-qualifying film(!). got rid of stage fright (conducted events and workshops at film schools in bombay to teach hundreds of students about crowdfunding).

learned everything I know about marketing, client management (we worked on health & luxury d2c brands, fashion & lifestyle accounts like vogue, verve, GQ), and the process of creating new things (we built an entire card game from scratch, started an NGO, shot documentaries, ran Cat Cafe Studio India, and a whole bunch of other things most first jobs could never offer anyone). truly the sharpest learning curve I could have had as a young person just starting out.
